Machine Link™ keeps you informed when sending and receiving CNC program files!
When sending, Machine Link™ clearly displays its progress in the communication status window. The communication parameters that are being used for the transmission are also displayed in the window. Machine Link™ also displays a useful status bar indicating percentage complete for file sizes larger than the specified buffer size. You can also cancel the transmission by clicking [CANCEL]. This is a very useful feature, especially when writing extremely large files.
When receiving, Machine Link™ also keeps you informed by displaying the number of bytes that have been received. The status bar shown below also flashes when a CNC program is being received. This is a great feature if you are not close to the computer during the transmission. It is very easy to see the flashing bar, even from a distance, informing you that the transmission is in progress.
Following the transmission, Machine Link™ will quickly format then insert the received file into the CNC Contents Window. If a file already exists in the window, Machine Link™ will have already prompted you to either replace, merge, or to append the received file.
