Multiport Option:
The Multiport Option integrates a BayTech MULTIPORT CONTROLLER to automatically switch to the appropriate machine tool control - the operator does not have to manually operate (or remember to operate) any ABC style switch boxes. The Multiport Option further automates the integration making it easy for everyone in the shop to send and/or receive CNC program files with any machine tool control.
Different Multiport Controller configurations are available enabling connections to either 4, 8, or 17 individual machine tool controls from each com port on the computer. Additionally, the Multiport Controller hardware can be positioned near the machine tools helping to reduce clutter around the PC and making it possible to run a single wire from the computer for an entire group (or island) of machine tools.
