Machine Link™ PLUS will communicate with up to six machine tools simultaneously (even more by request). This feature is ideal if you frequently have long DNC sessions that tie the computer to a particular job or CNC. Machine Link™ PLUS can actually feed five machines and still recieve from a sixth.
Machine Link™ PLUS is ideally suited for integration into any shop or machining cell. The computer must be equipped to support the additional communication ports which is easily accomplished using plug-in hardware also available through Controlink Systems, LLC. These boards make it easy to add six, eight, sixteen, even thirty-two additional com ports to any standard Windows® based computer. The hardware options can also be easily expanded to accommodate more than 200 machine tools using a single computer.
Both Machine Link™ and Machine Link™ PLUS can be ordered with the Multiport Option which further automates the integration. The Multiport Option, combined with the necessary hardware, enables either product to automatically switch to the appropriate machine tool control - the operator does not have to manually operate any ABC style switch boxes.
Machine Link™ PLUS has the same features as Machine Link™ and will successfully communicate with every CNC machine tool in your shop. It makes sending, receiving, editing, and printing CNC programs quick and easy. The big advantage with PLUS is the ability to have multiple (simultaneous) sessions.
